Admissions

Here we have some general information on School Admsissions and Registration. For forms and more information, use the links on the right.

General Admissions Information

Application forms are available in the school office between the hours of 7:30am and 2:30pm on regular schooldays. You may also click on the link under "More Info" on the right to print out an application form

To make application to St. Monica Elementary School, parents must submit the following:

  • A completed application form
  • A non-refundable application fee
  • A copy of the birth certificate (for Kindergarten only)
  • A copy of the baptismal certificate (if applicable)
  • A copy of the most recent report card (for Grades I - 8)

No incomplete packets will be accepted.

Students Seeking Admission to Kindergarten

Applicants must

  • be 5 years of age before August 1st

  • be administered a Kindergarten entrance test to assess social maturity and social responsibility students

Seeking Admission to Grades 1 - 8

Applicants must

  • meet established grading criteria for academic subjects and personal and social responsibility standards (as evidenced by the current report card)

  • be administered an academic assessment (provided that they meet established standards for assessment)

After successfully completing the application and assessment processes, students are admitted to St. Monica Elementary School according to the following considerations:

  • academic and social readiness

  • registered and active parishioner at St. Monica

  • sibling of a student already enrolled in St. Monica Elementary School

  • other Catholics

  • non-Catholics (if space available)
